Advantages of LCD monitors

1. High display quality
Since each point of the liquid crystal display maintains the color and brightness after receiving the signal, it emits constant light, unlike the cathode ray tube display (CRT), which needs to constantly refresh the bright spots. As a result, the LCD display is of high quality and absolutely flicker-free, keeping eye strain to a minimum.
2. A small amount of electromagnetic radiation
Download the full text The display material of traditional displays is phosphor powder, which is displayed by the electron beam hitting the phosphor powder, and the moment the electron beam hits the phosphor powder
There will be strong electromagnetic radiation during the time, although many display products have carried out more effective treatment on the radiation problem, and try to minimize the radiation amount, but it is difficult to completely eliminate it. Relatively speaking, liquid crystal displays have inherent advantages in preventing radiation, because there is no radiation at all. In terms of electromagnetic wave prevention, the liquid crystal display also has its own unique advantages. It adopts strict sealing technology to seal a small amount of electromagnetic waves from the driving circuit in the display. In order to dissipate heat, the ordinary display must make the internal circuit as much as possible. In contact with the air, the electromagnetic waves generated by the internal circuit will leak out in a large amount.

3. Large viewing area
For the same size display, the viewing area of the liquid crystal display is larger. The viewing area of an LCD monitor is the same as its diagonal size. On the other hand, cathode ray tube displays have an inch or so border around the front panel of the picture tube and cannot be used for display.
4. Small size and light weight
Traditional cathode ray tube displays always have a bulky ray tube lugging behind them. LCD monitors break through this limitation and give a whole new feel. Conventional monitors emit electron beams to the screen through an electron gun, so the neck of the picture tube cannot be made very short, and the volume of the entire monitor will inevitably increase when the screen is increased. The liquid crystal display achieves the display purpose by controlling the state of the liquid crystal molecules through the electrodes on the display screen. Even if the screen is enlarged, its volume will not increase proportionally, and it is much lighter in weight than the traditional display with the same display area.
